From the way her mom kissed her forehead to how the boys held her with such careful curiosity, every shot tells the story of a family growing and thriving together. The Big Brothers Take Charge

One of the most heartwarming parts of any newborn session is watching the transition from being an only child - or in this case, the twins of the house - to becoming a big brother or big sister. Her four-year-old twin brothers were absolutely incredible. They were so gentle and proud! We gathered them on the white faux fur, where they leaned in to give their new sister the sweetest kisses. It is these raw, unscripted connections that make my job as a Florence SC newborn photographer so rewarding. They were fascinated by her tiny fingers and toes, and watching them hold their little sister was a reminder of just how big their hearts already are.

A Collection of Tiny Details

We spent the afternoon playing with different layers and colors, from sage green floral muslin to dusty rose knit wraps that looked beautiful against her delicate skin. Gracyn looked like a little porcelain doll tucked inside the heart-shaped wicker basket, and I loved how she stayed perfectly peaceful while I captured those close-up macros of her hands and feet. Whether she was wearing a dainty peach floral headband or a simple velvet rose bow, she looked stunning in every frame. My goal at Reflection Images by Tracy Rowell is always to capture the quiet magic of these first few days, focusing on the textures and the way a parent’s hand looks against a baby’s soft skin. Seeing the whole family cuddle together on the cognac leather sofa really rounded out the day, capturing a moment of stillness amidst the busyness of life with three young children.

Family Connections

It wasn't that long ago that I was capturing the excitement of the twin's maternity session, and suddenly, here we are at my Florence SC studio welcoming their newest addition. Seeing familiar faces walk through my door is always a highlight, but meeting the newest baby to this sweet family felt extra special. The air in the studio was full of excitement of a newborn who was ready to show us all her tiny, perfect details. Gracyn was a dream from start to finish, settling right into the rhythm of the day as we moved between soft, creamy textures and gentle floral wraps.

We take on a certain number of due dates per month to make sure we have all of our professional newborn photo sessions are spaced out appropriately. So, we recommend getting on our due date calendar in your 2nd trimester if possible to ensure we have space for your newborn photo session.
