“A Sweet Celebration” - Grace’s 1st Birthday Cake Smash at Reflection Images Studio

There’s nothing sweeter than a baby turning one, and Grace's 1st birthday session at Reflection Images Studio in Florence, SC was no exception. A longtime client-turned-friend, Grace’s family first came to us for their bridal portraits and wedding day, and it’s been an honor to document each joyful milestone since.

A Beautiful Studio Setup

Set in our natural light studio, the session featured soft white curtains, textured flooring, and touches of greenery to bring a fresh, timeless feel. Grace wore a mauve tulle birthday dress with a matching bow, and the setup included a vintage chair, a pink name-embroidered trunk, and our signature cake smash set complete with a pastel balloon garland.

From Sweet Smiles to Smash!

Grace charmed us all with her bright eyes, expressive personality, and joyful giggles. She posed perfectly with mom and dad before diving into her beautiful pink cake. We captured every detail, from frosting-covered fingers to the moment she gleefully lifted the whole cake into her lap!
