Hurricane Harvey Fundraiser by Reflection Images

My brother Freddy Wright and I

Hi, I’m Tracy!

For those that don’t know, I’m a photographer in Florence, SC.  My family and I are just heartbroken for those that have lost so much from Hurricane Harvey!  This tragedy has hit close to home for us and I have been trying to come up with a way that I can HELP from here in South Carolina.

My brother Freddy Wright, his wife Shannon and their 3 daughters live in Beaumont, TX.  My brother Freddy is the pastor of Northpoint Community Church in Beaumont.  They had to leave their home because of the rising flood waters.  Their whole community is devastated.  They are without a water supply and so many houses are still flooded.  I just can’t imagine having to leave my house with my most precious items not knowing if I would have anything to go back to.  Or, not being able to go back to work because my place of business is destroyed!

So being a photographer, we came up with this!

We want to put together a mosaic picture made up of lots of tiny pictures in the shape of Texas.  For everyone that donates, we will get a picture from you and put it all together to create this mosaic.  Then we will have a banner made for Northpoint to put up in their church.  Freddy has devoted his ministry to serving all people!  The money raised will go directly to this Church and we know that he will be able to put this money directly where it’s needed most.

Already, the church has begun serving as a supply collection and distribution location for the Hurricane Relief.  Northpoint is also a staging location for the many work teams arriving to help restore their community.  It will take months of hard work before many people will be able to get back in their homes, and that’s if their home is even salvageable and repairable.  Many people won’t have jobs to go to for a long while as well.

Let’s be the “Hands and Feet of Jesus” and show them how much we love, support and are praying for them!!

Here’s a few photos and some more information on how you can help below.

Here’s how we can literally bond together and show our love.

1.  We created a GRAPHIC using the State of Texas with their State Flag inside of the state outline.  We replaced the “Lone Star” with our South Carolina State Flag symbols of the Crescent Moon over the Palmetto Tree.

2.  Next, we’re going to take all of your photos and create a large “MOSAIC” image of the above GRAPHIC!

Here’s an example of what this type of “MOSAIC” image looks like…
