JP and Blakely, they were definitely made for one another! They have been so great to work with through this whole process! Blakely has some amazing sisters that really helped with so much of the wedding planning. I know Blakely would agree that this wedding day wouldn’t have been the success it was without them!
The wedding was held at Blackwater Farms. We did JP and Blakely’s engagement session back in August there and I fell in love with the place immediately. It had a beautiful pond with a pier that lead to a huge gazebo out on the water. There were large trees with hanging moss adorable bridges and a cute cabin. Little did we know that about 6 weeks after the engagement session Hurricane Matthew would come through and put a beating on Florence. Because of the heavy rains, the damn broke and drained the pond washing away the pier to the gazebo as well. So when I returned to Blackwater Farms for Blakely’s bridal session in March the pond was still empty. However, it was filled with tall, thick bright green grass and looked amazing!!
The wedding day was beautiful. I really, really love outdoor weddings!! Even if it does get a little hot sometimes. Thank you to the new Mr. and Mrs. Tepper for allowing me to capture this very important day for you!! We are so excited for you to see all of your wedding pictures!
